Big Cedar-Big Post

My mom, the kids and I are here at Big Cedar Lodge right outside of Branson, MO and we are lovin' it...lovin' it...lovin' it!!! We have had a blast together. Chad and my dad are so missing out. They decided to sit this trip out. The kids' godparents and our very good friends are part of the timeshare here at Big Cedar and they always invite us up when they have extra room and we pretty much always say yes. We love it here!

Today we started our morning off with a pony ride and the kids had so much fun! Here's Festus, our pony.Carson was the first to ride...looks like a natural!

Here's Wrangler Casey...she was so nice and sweet to the kids.

Here's my baby girl, looking like a natural at first...
But then, she started to slide to the left...
After my hollering at Wrangler Casey, to hold onto my baby, she supported her the rest of the way. See...but she's still leaning...

After our horseback ride, Carson got to go to "Sports Day" over at the Kid's Club with other kids from Big Cedar. He was gone from 12-3, so we hit up the gift shop. C's not much of of a shopper...but Cate Cate is!! She found about 15 Hello Kitty purses that she loved!! Nana loved them too...
I found the CUTEST bag tag ever and HAD to get it for my new Vera Bradley duffle bag! The front is so super adorable and the back is simple with a place to write in all your info. Love it!

After nap time and Carson's sports day, we got ready for dinner. The Hahns, the kids' godparents, and their kids, Burke and Teresa, were coming over for dinner! Carson and Kennedy helped Nana make the dessert...
All the kids having suckers after dinner...

What a wonderful day we had today! Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and warm! We're off to the pool in the morning and whatever else Carson is scheduling for us!
More pics and updates tomorrow...

Cheesecake Factory

Last night my mom and I went to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner....just my mom and I....that's rare!

We had such a great time together and ATE AND ATE! We shared the Chicken Madeira and it was delicious. After dinner, we had this...

It's CHOCOLATE TUXEDO CREAM CHEESECAKE! Here's their description of it..."Layers of our Fudge Cake, Chocolate Cheesecake, Vanilla Mascarpone Mousse and Chocolate". We shared a mountainous piece and it was pure heaven! You should try it soon...very soon!

My Baby's First Haircut!

I know my baby will be 3 this summer, but she finally had her first professional haircut! I would trim the straggly hairs every now and then, but she's never had a real haircut!

Look how serious she is!

She LOVED it, and her hair is precious. Only, now that we're home, she won't sit still long enough for me to fix it like the hair dresser did!

Toody Tot a Toody Tot a Toody Tot Tot

Carson's preschool class had a Mother's Day celebration last week for all the moms and it was precious! They performed a few songs and then we had muffins and juice together.

Here he is singing Toody Tot and stepping on the poor little girl's toes next to him about a trillion times...she finally moved. Before you watch the video, scroll down and pause my music player on the right side of my blog. That way you'll only hear Carson and not my blog music too!

The best Mother's Day gift...look at this sweet little pillow Carson made for me. His little feet in the shape of a butterfly...LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! Thank you C!

Kennedy's class is still to young to perform anything for us, but they did make a photo album full of pictures from her first year at preschool. She looks like such a baby at the beginning of the year...she's grown so much! I would show you a picture of it, but I can't pry it out of Kennedy's hands!

Thank you Chad, Carson and Kennedy for a wonderful Mother's Day...I love you all more than you will ever ever know!

A Much Needed Break!

For my 30th birthday, Chad took me away! Here he is...how handsome is he?!?

Last weekend we flew to Orlando, FL, took a bus ride to Port Canaveral, hopped on a cruise ship and sailed to the Bahamas. The cruise ship we took is called Monarch of the Seas, which is the same ship we sailed on for our honeymoon! Here are a bunch of pics from our fabulous weekend vacation!!

Oh my oh my...did we have fun!!!!! The kiddos were playing with all of the grandparents back in T-Town and we were hanging out on the beach and lovin every minute of it. Thank you Chad...I had the best time with you and wish we could do that once a month!!! Love you!
