The Boy Loves His Shin Guards!

A couple weeks ago we took C-Man to Academy to pick out his soccer gear. He picked out 2 pairs of shorts, a soccer ball and SHIN GUARDS! He loved his shin guards so much that he decided to sleep in them! He likes to choose what he wears to bed at night, so tonight's attire consisted of a t-shirt, his new soccer shorts and of course the beloved shin guards! How cute is this...

When C woke up in the morning, he decided that wearing shin guards all night was not such a good idea. He had deep red marks where the shin guards had squeezed him all night! Another one of my "Mother of the Year" moments!

Here's a pic of Carson all ready for his first and last soccer practice of the season!

He had a good time at his first practice, but he wanted to do his own thing the whole time. I don't think he did one thing his coach told him to do. So, we decided that Carson likes the soccer outfit way better than the actual sport...we'll try again next year!
